A short scenic hike under the Midnight Sun, ending with a relaxing picnic at Blåvatnet.

The Arctic midnight sun is one of nature's most extraordinary phenomena, and Kvaløya is one of the most spectacular places on earth to experience it.
Most midnight sun tours follow a fixed trail and call it a night. We don't. Every evening, our guides select the route based on live weather, trail conditions, and an intimate knowledge of Kvaløya's landscapes built from hundreds of nights in the field. We don't follow a schedule. We follow the conditions.
The hike takes you through dramatic Arctic terrain where mountains meet fjords. Over approximately 2 hours, watch for native wildlife, forage for seasonal berries, and let your guide capture the stunning views along the way. At the end of the hike, settle in for a picnic at a handpicked location under a golden sky that refuses to go dark. Your guide shares the professional photos with you afterwards as a lasting memory of the night.
If weather conditions are deemed unsafe, such as heavy rain, dangerous winds, or poor visibility, we cancel and give you a full refund or rebook you for the next available night. No risk. No disappointment.
This tour runs 1 June through 12 August. Suitable for moderately fit hikers comfortable on natural terrain. Good hiking boots and layers essential.
Included: Picnic and professional photos shared after the tour.
The midnight sun won't wait. Neither should you.
We focus on delivering a smooth, well-organized experience from the first contact to the end of your tour. Quality, care, and local expertise guide everything we do.
Clear communication, fast responses, and honest guidance come as standard. From booking to pickup, we make sure guests feel informed, supported, and well taken care of.
We keep our groups small to ensure comfort, flexibility, and a more personal connection. This allows us to adapt easily, avoid crowds, and focus on the details that matter.
With deep local knowledge, our guides know where to go beyond the usual stops. We seek out quiet viewpoints, lesser-known routes, and hidden gems that reveal the Arctic at its best.
